- Record a patient's medical history accurately
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
- Monitor patients' condition and compose patient charts
- Administer injections and assist with other basic medical care tasks
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
- Report the status of their patients to the supervisor
- Successful completion of an LPN Program
- Strong communication skills
- Good time management and organization
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Extensive knowledge of basic health care procedures
- Knowledge in measuring and administering medication
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Excellent knowledge of medical and health center terminology
- Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Familiarity with FQHCs a plus
