    Description
    The project manager will provide technical expertise to the government customer in developing and maintaining robust program processes.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    documenting, developing, editing, coordinating program processes, document reviews, preparing documents for approval, and publishing documents internally


    Expertise and Functions:
    Support the acquisition and development of program systems Support the program in acquiring the trainers and training systems needed for the next generation ICBM Provide expert advice and support to program leaders on all aspects supporting ICBM Missile Operators, Maintainers, Security Forces, Trainer Facilities, and Training Programs and Procedures throughout the acquisition cycle Review status of projects, develop schedules, and prepare status reports Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives Plan, organize, manage, and oversee technical and admin istrative activities relating to the design, development, fabrication, installation, modification, or analysis of systems or system components Support the team using best practices within the realm of Earned Value Management, Agile, and MBSE Other duties as assigned

    Requirements


    Education/Training:
    Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or other related field, requiredMaster's Degree Preferred


    Experience:

    7+ years of Acquisition Management experience with Government or Industry, at least 3 years of which must be in a Defense acquisition program as either a program or project manager5+ years of experience with a Master's DegreeUnderstanding of DoD/DoE acquisition and publications/document management processesProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteTechnical editing and configuration management skills; ability to write technical descriptions using knowledge of material standards, industrial processes, and operating procedures

    Preferred

    Experience:
    Prior experience with DoD Acquisitions programs and/or weapon systems, to include ICBMsProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationLEAN Six Sigma Green BeltAbility to manage change in a dynamic and evolving program environment, leverage best practices, and innovate through any problem with a can-do attitude


    Security:
    Must be a US citizenActive US Government issued clearance, level Secret or higher, required
