Children's Nebraska is building a team of Nurse Practitioners to support Neonate / NICU Transport. Our level 4 transport team is the only team in Nebraska specializing in the care of neonatal patients, and we have one of the first Neuro-Neonatal Intensive Care Units in the region.

We are a free-standing hospital that has dedicated over 75 years to helping children in our community. With a well-established collaborative team, we are ready to support you with onboarding and training opportunities. This position will be housed in the NICU and will be on stat for transport when needed.

Children's Nebraska operates and maintains the fleet of four ground ambulances. Air Methods Corporation operates and maintains the air fleet. Children's Nebraska is the sole users of the aircrafts.

The team transports patients to our new state of the art Hubbard Center for Children, which is a level 2 trauma center, consisting of a 20-room emergency department, 32-room cardiac care unit, 32-room pediatric intensive care unit, and 52-room neonatal intensive care unit.

We have received The Gold Standard of Nursing Excellence, Magnet Recognition 4 times, which is an honor achieved by only 2% of hospitals nationwide. Furthermore, the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems is proud to announce that Children's Hospital Pediatric & Neonatal Transport was awarded accreditation on April 9, 2019.
