We are hiring a Network Engineer for our client, a global leader in enterprise IT solutions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years related experience and in-depth knowledge of various operating systems, platforms, databases, and networks.     Location: Onsite - Auburn Hills, MI

    Duration: 1-year contract (with opportunity for extension or conversion to direct hire)

    Responsibilities:

    • Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate customers' networks and in-house servers.
    • Maintain physical Unix, Windows, and Linux Servers.
    • Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.
    • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
    • Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords, with expertise in Active Directory.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 6~9+ years of related work experience.
    • Proven experience as an IT System Administrator Manager or a similar senior role.
    • In-depth knowledge of various operating systems, platforms, databases, and networks.
    • Familiarity with system security, backup and recovery, patch management, and automation tools.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and web hosting technologies.
    • VMware (vCenter, vSphere) management experience.
    • Knowledge of networking services and standard networking protocols.
    • Computer proficiency and understanding of various types of hardware.
    • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
    • Wiring, racking, IDF/MDF room experience.
