Electrical Engineer (Full-Time, Permanent)

HC Solutions Group is partnering with a highly respected MEP consulting engineering firm in the Greater New England area to hire an Electrical Engineer for a full-time, permanent opportunity based in either North Easton, MA or Warwick, RI.

This is an in-office role with a collaborative, team-oriented environment and the opportunity to take ownership of impactful building systems design projects across multiple sectors.

About the Role

This Electrical Engineer position offers the chance to work on a wide variety of commercial and institutional building projects, supporting the full electrical design lifecycle including schematic development, construction documents, permitting, and construction administration.

You will work closely with project managers, principals, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality electrical systems that meet client goals, codes, and sustainability standards.

Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Managing electrical design projects from concept through construction administration
Performing field verification and documenting existing conditions for renovation work
Writing reports and conducting due diligence on existing building infrastructure
Producing full electrical designs from schematic programming through construction documents
Coordinating with internal mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering teams
Providing design support and direction to junior designers and drafters
Participating in client meetings and clearly communicating design intent

Supporting construction administration activities including:
Shop drawing reviews
Responding to RFIs
Site observations and field reports
Project closeout documentation
Delivering complete, accurate work in a fast-paced environment across varied project types

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
Strong building systems electrical design experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
Ability to mentor junior engineers and designers
Strong communication skills with architects, owners, contractors, and project teams
Experience across diverse sectors including commercial, healthcare, industrial, residential, and science + technology
