Camera Optical ExpertAs our Camera Optical Expert, you would have a directive role in your area of expertise (Camera Optical Design).

Your main goal is researching and prototyping mobile phone camera hardware technologies that would lead to successful innovation concepts, technologies and solutions, resulting in competitive advantages for our camera hardware product solutions.

Provide analysis and industry insights on the following technologies: optical design; material and manufacturingExplore further research opportunities on camera hardware optical technologiesEstablish industry-academic relationship to support future R&D roadmap planningContinuously study and evaluate emerging Optical technologies to guide and assist headquarters to resolve pain points in our complex hardware technologiesThis is what you need to be successful in this role:Deep understanding and strong knowledge of camera optical designExperienced in successful innovation that leads to camera hardware Optical mass productionDetailed responsibilities:Responsible for optical design for mobile phone imaging lens and new imaging architectureProduction and verification of the optical design schemePatent layout for the lensBuild a manufacturing-oriented optical design and simulation platform to realize system-level design and simulation applicationsResearch cutting-edge technologies and provide technological direction for optical designQualifications & additional requirements:PhD.

or post-doctoral qualifications in optics, or related research domains10+ years of related work experienceProficient in Zemax /Code V/lighttoolsThis is full-time employee position located in Finland or Germany.
