    Physical Therapy Assistant Responsibilities:

    • Daily care of patients
    • Charting on all patients
    • Communication with department coworkers
    • Promote safety in the department
    • Communicate with the therapist regarding the patient's needs during treatment
    • Assist the supervising PT or PTA with patient care needs
    • Transportation of patients to and from the patient room
    • Checks and inserts department charges in the computer
    • Oversees maintenance patients
