Our primary location is a 159,000 square foot / 13-acre Fabrication and Coating Facility. Our services include Civil Engineering, Equipment Installation and Maintenance, Structural Erection, Electrical & Instrumentation Installation, Steel Fabrication, and Industrial Coatings. We serve customers across the Southwest United States and have completed projects in Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Texas, and Colorado.

    Our main shop is located at 5858 W Riggs Road, Chandler, AZ This position is in the field, working at different job sites in Arizona (may be required to travel). Feel free to submit your resume to schedule an interview (Monday – Friday).

    Job Summary:

    The Electrical Prefabrication Supervisor is responsible for the accurate and timely assembly of prefabricated electrical assemblies for Revolution Industrial's projects. They are also responsible for the training and development of those working in the prefab shop such as apprentices and other journeymen. The Prefabrication Supervisor reports to the Electrical Division Manager.

    Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes, responsible for up 20-person prefab crew

    Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    • Maintains compliance with all OSHA, Revolution Industrial and other customer safety requirements and policies.
    • Improve, develop, document and train on new methods/procedures for assembly and installation.
    • Work with Foremen/Superintendents/other field personnel on developing and building electrical installations, customized to each job.
    • Coach and train apprentices/prefabricators on proper working practices.
    • Lead and assist prefab employees with prefabricating electrical assemblies based off blueprints and electronic drawings/models.
    • Assist in coaching and training designated journeymen on ordering material, processing timecards, and other tasks related to their development while in the prefab shop.
    • Order and manage materials needed for prefabrication assemblies for multiple job sites at once.
    • Schedule and coordinate deliveries with Revolution Industrial's driver and outside suppliers/delivery services.
    • Perform physical tasks such as bending conduit, pulling wire, and more.
    • Work with HR and coordinate and inspect conduit work of people applying for electrical positions.
    • Supervise written electrical tests.
    • Complete accurate weekly timecards for entire prefab shop (including self).
    • Work with Electrical Division Manager on long-term development/goals/planning/success of the prefab shop.
    • Experience in running a crew in a foreman level or higher for 4+ years.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Knowledge Skills And Abilities:

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite required (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
    • Highly detail oriented with a focus on blending safety, quality and efficiency required.
    • Prior experience teaching or leading apprentices preferred.
    • Must be OSHA 30 certified or willing to acquire within 6 months.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Keep work area clean and organized.
    • Record information about time, parts, materials, and repair details and procedures.
    • Confer with coworkers to coordinate work activities.
    • Complete and properly document assigned work orders.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Valid Journeyman license required or 6 years of experience.
    • Minimum 4 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience required.

    Physical Demands:

    • Standing – ability to stand on one's feet with little to no movement for a prolonged period.
    • Walking – ability to move around on one's feet for long period of time.
    • Lifting – up to 50 pounds.
    • Carrying – up to 50 pounds.
    • Bending- ability to bend at waist, hips, and knees, sometimes for a prolonged period.
    • Pushing – up to 50 pounds.
    • Pulling – up to 50 pounds.
    • Must be able to speak English fluently.

    Work Environment:

    • 90% of your work will be performed outdoors in a temperature regulated warehouse.
    • Occasional work and travel to job sites will be required. This could entail hot, cold, muddy, wet, humid, windy, and dry conditions.
    • Employees are required to wear personal tools while actively assembling.
    • Ability to work from different heights including, but not limited to step ladders, A-frame ladders, extension ladders, and ariel lifts.
