Job Posting Summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Patient Advocate, RN to join the Nursing Administrative Team. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity located at Baptist South. This position will also cover the OAK FSED, St Aug FSED and CLA campus.


Responsibilities:

• Serves as a liaison for patients during their hospital stay.
• Welcomes patients and families.
• Explains procedures, polices and services and responds to non-clinical needs and requests.
• Acts as key responder to resolve complaints and grievances and is a resource to staff in service recovery situations.
• Develops and delivers service excellence/patient experience training for all staff and assists leadership with service excellence improvement initiatives.

The Patient Advocate at Baptist South focuses on patient issues that have not been closed while receiving care. Inpatient service recovery is addressed by the department management as quickly as possible.
