    Summary:


    Collaborates with the VP of Behavioral Health to oversee management and operations of Crisis Emergency Services for The MetroHealth System (MHS) located at St.

    Vincent Charity in a patient-centric manner.

    Advises VP of Behavioral Health on those matters involving operational decision-making.

    Together with the VP of Behavioral Health, monitors and manages center performance against metrics (budget, quality, patient experience, and population health).

    Shares responsibility with Behavioral Health leadership regarding the oversight of all facets of daily operations, including reviewing, recommending, and implementing service enhancements; managing capital, expense, and revenue budget for the area; establishing and maintaining an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish center goals; supervising staff and coordinating schedules.

    Ensures the effective and efficient provision of patient care services, including coordination of physician, nursing, therapy, and overall customer services.

    Develops and maintains systems to ensure ease of scheduling patients and efficient use of human and capital resources.


    Qualifications:

    Required:


    Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field (i.e., Nursing, Nutrition, Social Work, or other Health Profession) or Business, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below.

    Six years of progressively responsible professional and management experience, including planning, analysis, and program planning and development.

    Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management.

    Ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.

    Excellent interpersonal skills along with experience working with multi-disciplinary groups

    Solid knowledge of PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheet skills.

    Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.


    Preferred:
    Master of Science in Nursing


    Physical Requirements:
    Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day.
    May sit or stand for extended periods of time.
    Ability to use a computer.
    Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
    Ability to read job-related documents
