    Job Title: Structures Engineer

    Your Opportunity
    • Work as a team member on a variety of projects, big and small.
    • Develop skills in evaluating, selecting, and engineering systems or products.
    • Create construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, engineering reports, and studies for infrastructure projects.
    Your Key Responsibilities
    • Design and evaluate bridge structures.
    • Prepare engineering project documents and design calculations.
    • Create high-quality contract documents for structures like bridges and retaining walls.
    • Conduct field inspections and assess structural conditions.
    • Use software for structural design and analysis.
    • Prepare drawings in compliance with client standards.
    • Assist with civil engineering disciplines such as roadway and geotechnical design.
    Your Capabilities and Credentials
    • Problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
    • Proactive approach to tasks and team coordination.
    • Familiarity with codes and design requirements.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to engage in project discussions effectively.
    Education and Experience
    • BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
    • Professional Engineering license in Florida preferred.
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in Transportation roadway and bridge design.
