    We're looking for talented individuals to join our team and help us improve the shopping experience on Amazon.com by tailoring what we display on our pages based on customer interests and preferences.

    About Our Team

    Our team's mission is to grow each customer's relationship with Amazon by leveraging our deep understanding of them to provide relevant and timely product, program, and content recommendations. We strive to better understand how customers shop on Amazon and build models that streamline their shopping experiences by showing the right products at the right time.

    Your Role

    You will design and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models that help customers shop on Amazon. You will conduct research on customer behavior, design models that enhance the shopping experience, and deploy these models to production. Additionally, you will participate in the Amazon ML community and mentor Applied Scientists and software development engineers with a strong interest in and knowledge of machine learning and generative AI.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and deploy machine learning models to enhance the shopping experience
    • Conduct research on customer behavior and preferences
    • Mentor Applied Scientists and software development engineers
    • Participate in the Amazon ML community

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of building machine learning models for business applications
    • PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
    • Experience in a wide breadth of modeling approaches and applications
    • Experience mentoring a team of applied scientists
    • Experience with neural deep learning methods and generative models (text and image)
