- Union Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all union-related matters, fostering positive relations and effective communication with union representatives.
- Negotiate and administer collective bargaining agreements, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads to address and resolve labor-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Compliance and Legal Oversight:

- Employee Relations:

- Talent Acquisition and Development:

- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and succession planning strategies to support long-term organizational goals.
- HR Administration and Reporting:
- Oversee HR administrative functions, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and strategic intervention.
- Manage budgetary allocations for HR-related expenses, optimizing resources to support organizational objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on union relations and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, particularly in Illinois and Chicago.
- Experience negotiating and administering collective bargaining agreements.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other HR-related certifications preferred.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
