    Join our team WebsterRogers is seeking an experienced Tax Manager with extensive knowledge of real estate partnerships, including the preparation and review of tax returns.

    Responsibilities

    As a Tax Manager, you will be expected to:

    Manage and oversee the tax compliance process for real estate partnerships, including the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns, estimates, and extensions.

    Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns and related forms, including form 1065 and K-1s.
    Provide continuous and proactive communication with clients to manage and exceed expectations, meet deadlines, and ensure satisfaction
    Identify tax issues and offer innovative solutions and process improvements
    Coordinate with team members on all phases of the tax engagement
    Review individual and business tax returns and provide timely and constructive feedback, training and mentoring to staff
    Manage financial performance of engagement, including billing and budget for assigned projects
    Participate in the firm's practice development efforts through involvement with referral sources, community and industry activities
    Keep current on tax law changes and accounting related developments and best practices

    Qualifications


    The successful candidate will have:
    BA/BS Accounting
    CPA required
    8+ years of progressive experience in public accounting reviewing both individual and business taxation
    3+ years of experience in tax management, real estate, partnerships and form 1065
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information
    Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
    Experience managing multiple client engagements and teams
