What will you be doing?

You will be part of what is rapidlybecoming the world's top global Energy and Commodity Trading consulting teamworking alongside other leading trading and risk management, technology, data /analytics, and transformation specialists on project engagements.

Clients willrange from independent energy and commodity traders, international Oil &Gas companies, integrated Energy Utilities, renewable power generators, and LNGterminal operators / shippers.

Project locations may be wide ranging across theUS with a heavier concentration in the major energy and commodity trading hubslocated near major market participants in Houston, Chicago, New York, andDenver.

Much of our work will include on-site client engagement across the USwith opportunity for further international travel for those that seek it.

Youwill also be supporting the continued development of our energy trading relateddigital and technology offerings (i.e., data and analytics, optimization,process automation, etc.) working closely with our Baringa nearshoredevelopment team as these continue to expand in line with market trends.

Specific role requirements include providing business advisory, project /program management, change management, and delivery assurance across our keyEnergy & Resource consulting offerings focused on:
Business & Commercial Strategy - US market entry and establishment, commercial trading & hedging strategy, book structure & transfer pricing, US-based power and gas market modeling, asset modelling / valuation advisory for new acquisitions or development, transaction / M&A advisory
Risk and Regulatory Advisory - risk management policies and framework, risk exposure assessment, commercial & regulatory due diligence, regulatory operating model design, transaction surveillance, regulatory reporting, financial crime compliance (i.e., KYC, AML), market / regulatory remediation
Clean Energy Transition -carbon / emissions measurement, decarbonization / net-zero strategy, transition planning and execution
Trading Technology - system selection and implementation, IT strategy & target architecture design, capability assessment and benchmarking, logistics and supply chain digitization
Data & Analytics - data strategy and architecture, artificial intelligence, use case identification and discovery, enterprise automation and robotics, data governance, data / reporting platform
Asset & Portfolio Operational Readiness - operational readiness for new market entry or asset acquisition, trading organizational design, operating model development
Energy Portfolio Optimization - portfolio optionality monetization, asset & contract flexibility evaluation, hedging & optimization models, asset optimization model design & development, risk analytics and model development

What are we looking for?

We are looking to hire motivated Analystsin the early part of their careers that want to develop into energy andcommodity trading practitioners, who are passionate about helping clients todeliver their most complex and strategic transformations.

As part of the continued growth anddevelopment of our energy and commodity trading consulting services we areinterested in individuals who can bring delivery and advisory experience andexpertise in all or some of the following areas:

Businessand commercial strategy for trading businesses
Functional expertise across theenergy value chain (natural gas, LNG, power, oil / refined products, lowcarbon / environmental products)
Capability assessment / targetoperating model design for trading organizations
Market entry and readiness fortrading businesses
Carbon measurement /decarbonization & transition planning for organizations across theenergy value chain
Risk and compliance advisory
Trading business and ITtransformation and change management
Trading and data analyticsarchitecture strategy and design
Complex program / project deliveryin trading environments
ETRMdesign and client-side implementation advisory across the leading vendorplatforms (e.g., OpenLink Endur, RightAngle, Allegro, Entrade, SAP CM,TriplePoint, Aligne, etc.)

Have you successfully engaged inthese types of areas in commodities or energy? Can you bring an understandingof consulting and technology delivery and are you motivated by helping leadingenergy and commodity traders solve complex problems and pursue new strategiesand opportunities?
