    About the Team
    The Business Intelligence (BI) team helps create and maintain reports, visualizations, and many other tools which help our internal and external consumers make actionable business decisions from our data and measure performance of our ad campaigns. We work with a wide cross section of the business ranging from sales and client services to our product and engineering teams to help create ways to get new insights from our data.

    About the Position
    Reports to: Director of Data EnablementLocation: Menlo Park, CA

    As a Sr BI developer you will have the opportunity to work with other teams to identify solutions to business problems, develop a plan for creating those solutions, and train end users on their use. We are looking for a developer who has experience and thorough understanding of BI software and techniques as well as the use of reports and visualizations to help make better decisions. To be successful in this role, you need to excel in the coding and delivery of all BI reports and visualizations.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and maintain tableau reports
    • Create and maintain datasets used to enable ad hoc analysis
    • Work with our stakeholders to help turn business questions into actionable answers
    • Assist stakeholders with any questions or issues they face with our BI Portal

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 5+ years in a business environment with exposure to Analysis, Reporting, Marketing Analysis, or Database Marketing.
    • 5+ years writing SQL queries to gather data and perform ETL.
    • Exposure to Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or comparable BI tools
    • Exposure to Data modeling and Data management (Structured/Unstructured)
    • Exposure to programmatic languages such as R, Python, or Java.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with HP Vertica is a plus.
    • Knowledge of Cloud-based data solutions (AWS/Snowflake) is a plus.
    • Use of Salesforce or other similar CRM platforms is a plus.

    Compensation
    The base salary range provided below does not include bonus and other benefits. Cardlytics' salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and individual pay may be determined by additional factors such as role-related skills, experience, education, training, and more.

    The anticipated annual base salary for this role is: $115,000 - $140,000
