We are looking for a qualified IT Technician that will install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality.

You will also "train" users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure.

A successful IT Technician must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems.

The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.

Compensation:
$50,000 - $60,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
Help our staff solve technology-related problems so they can work efficiently
Keep all technical hardware and systems up to date, including phone systems, printers, computers, operating systems, network systems, and any other technical equipment
Ensure our computers are backed up so all files are saved in case the system crashes
Implement new technology, such as desktops and computer hardware, operating systems, software programs, and applications
Administer new user accounts, work email addresses, and access levels to new employees to ensure they have everything they need to work efficiently

Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.)
Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality
Assist with the implementation and training of a fully integrated ERP system (Early 2024)
Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
Work with our Third Party IT service company in regard to new workstation setup and network issues
Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems
Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders


Qualifications:
Expert-level Microsoft Office skills
Understands how to create a technical database using Excel spreadsheets
Must have high school diploma or equivalent, associate's degree in a tech-related field is highly valued but not required
Solid understanding of troubleshooting Internet connectivity, network systems, phone systems, and other technological equipment in the office
Two years of work experience in IT support

Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Experience with implementing and maintaining ERP Systems
Excellent communication ability
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
Good knowledge of Internet security and data privacy principles
Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
