You will help integrate our technology infrastructure, pioneering solutions that improve efficiency and drive innovation.

This is a full-time exempt position and will report to the Systems Architect.

This position is open to candidates ideally based within a commutable distance of our offices including Portland, ME,

New York, NY , San Francisco, California

or Portland, OR; where you'll enjoy a flexible hybrid working environment.

Exceptional candidates based outside of the listed locations may also be considered.

In addition, you agree to travel, periodically to 3Degree's offices for training or team collaboration and to conferences and customers as required.

Frequency and cadence is team dependent, but on average is 1-6 times annually.


WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining Salesforce customizations, configurations, and integrations to support several business processes and objectives.

Collaborating closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams, you'll identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to optimize business performance.

Additionally, you will work with IT teams to ensure smooth integration between Salesforce and other business systems.

Lead Salesforce development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Create and maintain custom Salesforce solutions to boost business teams' performance
Integrate Salesforce with various business systems, enhancing data flow
Manage Salesforce security settings, workflows, and user access controls
Develop automation in Salesforce for process efficiency
Liaise with business teams to translate needs into Salesforce functionalities
Build custom reports and dashboards for sales insights
Conduct Salesforce end-user training and develop educational resources
Keep abreast of Salesforce updates and emerging technologies
Troubleshoot Salesforce integration issues in collaboration with integration teams
Perform regular system audits for data accuracy and efficiency
Collaborate with other IT resources to align Salesforce with business technology strategies
Identify and implement process improvements in Salesforce
Work with IT architects, integration developers, and other platform developers to design and implement complex cross-platform solutions

ABOUT YOU
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be critical in enhancing our business teams' effectiveness through the Salesforce platform.

Your expertise in Salesforce development, combined with a strong understanding of business operations and platform integrations, will be pivotal in driving our strategy and supporting our broader organizational goals.

We believe an individual with the following skills, experience, and subject matter expertise would be well-suited to be successful in this role:

5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a focus on both admin and developer roles
Strong expertise in Salesforce, including various Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.) and Salesforce development environments
Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning
Must have extensive experience with Salesforce Flow, triggers, validation rules,
In-depth knowledge of and experience with RESTful and SOAP API protocols
Understanding of API security standards and protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
Skilled in multiple programming languages relevant to Salesforce (e.g., Java, JavaScript)
Familiarity with both SQL/SOQL and NoSQL databases as well as JSON format
Expertise in data mapping and transformation techniques
Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools like Lucid Chart
Experience with CI/CD practices in Salesforce, including the use of development orgs
Proficiency in version control systems like Git/GitHub
Understanding of event-driven and message-driven architectures in Salesforce
Knowledge of data privacy standards and regulations applicable to Salesforce
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Good documentation practices within Salesforce
Experience with Agile development frameworks and methodologies
Previous experience as a business analyst preferred
Combination of at least one Salesforce developer and one other advanced certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Certified
App Builder, Advanced Salesforce Administrator, Application/System Architect, etc.)
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience

HOW WE DEFINE SUCCESS
Within 30 days,

Gain an understanding of 3Degrees IT infrastructure, Salesforce integration needs, current implementations, and the portfolio of ongoing Salesforce
development projects
Begin contributing to ongoing Salesforce projects, suggesting improvements, and grasping business requirements
Within 90 days,

Assume responsibility for managing and administering our Salesforce platform
Lead new Salesforce projects, initiating the delivery of solutions
Within 6 months,

Establish yourself internally as the key resource for Salesforce implementations, significantly enhancing our Salesforce capabilities
Successfully lead and complete a Salesforce project, demonstrating enhanced business processes/operations and process efficiency

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation:
The minimum and maximum salary for this position is $105,000 to $151,000 in the US. The level of pay within the range will depend on a
variety of job-related factors that may include location, role requirements, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise

Supplemental Pay:
This position may be eligible to participate in discretionary bonus programs based on personal, department and company goals
