We have an excellent role available for a Specialty Medical Director to join our clients team. Boasting an established reputation, the hospital features an 18,000 sq. ft. facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a 1.5T MRI, on-site 16-slice CT, endoscopy, and laparoscopy equipment. The collaborative team comprises 21 doctors and 55 technicians specialising in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, Dentistry, and Rehabilitation.
The Medical Director role involves not only establishing medical quality and patient care practices but also mentoring associate veterinarians and staff.
You will contribute significantly to the hospital's overall financial performance, helping shape its direction and ensuring positive outcomes.Additionally, the Medical Director actively participates as a staff veterinarian, serving as a mentor and role model for the dedicated team.
This role will come with both medical and client responsibilities, the candidate should be able to work through these efficiently to ensure a smooth operation.
Qualifications/skills:
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, staff, and various stakeholders. Ability to gather information from diverse sources, evaluate credibility, and objectively assess situations and hospital needs. Proficiency in multitasking and managing stress, particularly in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities. Effective communication skills, with the ability to address challenging issues with colleagues at different levels. Willingness and capability to work flexible hours as needed to fulfil responsibilities and maintain smooth hospital operations.
