    Hourly Rate: $35.80/hour

    Planet Interactive's Global Beauty client has a HOT need for an Event Project Manager with 5-7 years of event management experience for a HYBRID role with event travel for the next 5 Months starting in April 2024

    As an Event Project Manager, you will be responsible for project managing all aspects of a large-scale event project from conception to completion. You will coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure the event is delivered successfully within the specified timeline, budget, and quality standards.

    Event Project Manager Responsibilities Include:
    • Act as support for the Director, Events and Design throughout the event planning process.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
    • Attend regular meetings to track progress, schedule and facilitate meetings, take notes, identify potential risks, and make necessary adjustments to ensure project goals are met.
    • Send weekly or biweekly progress trackers to all involved teams and stakeholders.
    • Manage post-mortem, organize feedback and create a summary that can be shared with stakeholders.
    • Support the Executive Producer and event PM with payments and budget tracking/audits.
    • Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to project team members to ensure alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
    • Foster a collaborative working environment and facilitate effective communication channels among team members.
    • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the success of the event project and develop mitigation strategies accordingly.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, partners (internally and externally)
    • Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Solicit feedback and evaluate post-event surveys to identify areas for improvement and enhance stakeholder satisfaction.
    Event Project Manager Qualifications:
    • Demonstrated ability to lead in a highly matrixed environment.
    • Drive all cross-functional project workstreams.
    • Knowledge of event planning best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
    • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
    • Software Proficiency: Box, Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint, and Smartsheet.
