    Job title: Software Manager, Imaging and AI

    Description

    About the Role:

    We are seeking an experienced software manager to join our team as we continue to push the boundaries of ultrasound imaging technology.

    • Team Management and Mentorship: Manage a team of individual contributors and cultivate a high-performing team by providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth and development.
    • Strategic Planning: Work closely with product and project management teams to define software deliverables, set timelines, and prioritize tasks in alignment with the company's goals for the ultrasound imaging platform.
    • Technical Implementation: Maintain hands-on involvement by reviewing and contributing to the implementation of critical algorithms using C++ and CUDA, serving as a technical resource and problem solver for the team.
    • Guide Advanced Algorithm Development: Oversee the research and development of advanced algorithms and image processing techniques to enhance spatial resolution and image quality in ultrasound imaging, providing technical mentorship to team members.
    • Foster AI and Machine Learning Integration: Champion the exploration and implementation of machine learning and AI techniques to enhance image analysis, automate diagnostic workflows, and assist clinicians with interpretation tasks.
    • Facilitate Systems Integration: Collaborate with systems and hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components for optimized data acquisition, processing, and display.

    • Leadership: Provide strategic direction and vision to the team, driving innovation and excellence in all aspects of the role.
    • Tech Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AI, ML, and ultrasound imaging, ensuring the team has access to the latest technologies and tools.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, sales, and customer success, to drive business outcomes and achieve shared goals.
    • Change Management: Lead the team through periods of change, ambiguity, and uncertainty, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.

    Requirements:

    • Master's Degree: A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
    • 10+ Years Experience: At least 10 years of experience in software development, leadership, or a related field.
    • AI/ML Experience: Proven expertise in AI, ML, and/or deep learning, with a focus on computer vision, natural language processing, or speech recognition.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in C++, CUDA, Python, Java, or other programming languages, as well as experience with agile methodologies, DevOps, and cloud computing.
