    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    Job ResponsibilitiesManage toy Categories:
    STEM and PlushNegotiate and outline key deal terms for new and current licenseesIdentifies Licensee prospects, evaluates opportunity and executes long-term new business initiativesAssists in development and execution of long and medium term category strategies (1- 2 years out)


    Owns annual sub-category initiatives, revenue plan and executionPlans and monitors quarterly forecast and annual budget for sub-categoriesManages licensees in partnership with Creative in the Product Line PlansPartners with Licensee, Franchise, Creative and Retail Business Development to drive Franchise initiativesParticipates in business updates, internal and external formal presentations and strategy discussionsPartners with Insights to Identify and apply competitive and industry key learnings and trendsJOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDSWork Experience5 plus years of experience in Licensing industry with background in Toys preferredEducation, Professional Training, Technical Training or CertificationBA/BS degree in business or related field requiredKnowledge/SkillsStrong licensing acumen and relationship skillsProven ability to execute strategic and operational planSolid negotiating skills with ability to participate in complex retail and licensee agreementsProven financial responsibility and accountability for category revenue and expensesStrong business development skills with robust experience analyzing data from different sources to identify business opportunities and lay out business plansStrong collaboration and partnership skillsProven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively cross-functionally and with senior managementEffective written and oral communication skills.

    Ability to create & deliver pitches, presentations; solution-selling orientedStrong organizational/leadership and planning skills requiredStrong and varied computer software knowledge required (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to create and deliver pitch/presentationsKnowledge of retail landscape:
    key retailers, set dates, buying cycles, sell-in process, etc.
