- Minimum ten (10) years of experience required, at least five (5) of those years of experience must include supporting military C4I systems. Additionally, at least five of those years must include functional lead or supervisory experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
- Secret clearance required to start and must maintain level of clearance required
- Travel is required, approximately 10-20%
- Working knowledge of U.S. Navy drawing standards and have the ability to produce drawings that detail the connectivity between C4I systems
- Able to express ideas and plans both verbally and in writing
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Project, and will be responsible for leading technical exchanges with other design teams, project managers, and other functional areas.
- Experience managing design requirements and leading teams throughout all phases of the engineering lifecycle
- Working knowledge of 2D and 3D design tools such as AutoCAD and Inventor, or equivalent
- Experience designing mechanical systems and knowledge of the manufacturing processes required. Typical drawings include arrangements, fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings.
- Experience managing technical data packages
- Performs engineering duties including supporting military C4I systems in planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically-functioning equipment
