Job description
AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic, energetic, and team-oriented fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to join AdventHealth Medical Group in Orlando.
- Focus primarily within the inpatient setting at AdventHealth Orlando, providing a daily consultative service and coverage within our 36 bed hematology/oncology floor
- Will manage a variety of hem malignancies and solid tumors
- Rotation of call would be shared with the other physicians in the practice, including weekend
- Inpatient coverage would also comprise of a team of advanced practice providers and support from the other physicians within the practice
- Access to research, clinical trials (including phase 1), tumor boards and multidisciplinary care consisting of nurse navigators, chaplains, social workers, palliative medicine, surgery
- Collaboration with leading experts and cutting edge treatments in the field of Hematology Oncology
- Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students

Requirements of the position include:
- Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology
