MRI Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. This position requires an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology, and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is preferred. The ideal candidate will efficiently operate the MRI machine, ensure patient comfort during scanning procedures, and coordinate with the physician for timely results. Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to stand for extended periods is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and clearly explain the procedure.
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Provide patient care tasks as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two (2) years of MRI experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners is required.
• Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization is preferred.

Schedule

This position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours for the first two weeks, followed by a solo weekend shift beginning from September 6-7, with potential flexibility for daytime and evening shifts to orientate.
