The Jr Network Engineer will be responsible for monitoring health performance Cisco network switches routers firewalls wireless infrastructure supporting senior engineers configuring maintaining LAN WAN VLANs troubleshooting issues escalating team members implementing security best practices access control patching firewall rule updates maintaining network documentation diagrams inventories configuration records daily operational tasks port activations cable tracing equipment labeling hardware installations network monitoring tools responding alerts assisting backup restoration processes workstation server network equipment imaging configuration deployment routine preventive maintenance diagnostic checks contributing infrastructure improvement projects under guidance senior staff.
