    Job Description Job Description Assistant General Manager for the Residence Inn YonkersResponsibilities:
    • Assist in managing the day
    • to
    • day operations of the hotel, including overseeing the front desk and guest relations.
    • Handle phone systems and ensure proper phone etiquette is maintained.
    • Assist with night audit procedures, including reviewing and reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports.
    • Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
    • Assist in training and supervising front desk staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about hotel policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
    • Assist in managing room reservations and ensuring accurate billing.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment.
    • Proficient in using computer systems and hotel management software.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
