• The hospital is one of the largest in the state with 683 licensed acute and rehab care beds and covers nearly 2 million square feet and spans more than six city blocks.
• Ascension Saint Thomas continues to make significant investments to care for our community, including a $300 million Midtown campus expansion project which was completed in 2023.
• Recent expansions at our hospital in Midtown include a new ICU and surgical tower, and the Womens Hospital Pavilion which opened in 2023. Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date.

Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
