Soliant is currently seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter for a full-time virtual assignment in Washington State. This 100% remote position is conducted through our virtual platform candidates from all states are wele to apply.
Requirements:

• EIPA of 4.0 or higher

Responsibilities:
In this role you will facilitate effective munication between a deaf/hard of hearing student and their peers, teachers, and staff. You will provide sign language interpretation services during classroom instruction, school assemblies, meetings, and other school-related activities. Other responsibilities include:

• Work closely with teachers to ensure that instructional materials, including textbooks, handouts, and visual aids, are accessible to students through sign language interpretation.
• Facilitate munication between students, teachers, parents, and other school staff members to promote collaboration and understanding.
• Collaborate with other support professionals, such as speech therapists, audiologists, and special education teachers, to address the unique needs of deaf and hard of hearing students.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding students' personal and academic information in accordance with school policies and regulations.
• Stay current with best practices and trends in sign language interpretation and deaf education through professional development opportunities and continuing education.
