    AZAD Technology Partners is seeking a Controls Engineer for a full-time, W2 Contract position based in Alpharetta, GA.

    Schedule:
    Full-time, 40 hours/week, Hybrid

    Assignment Duration:

    13 Months with possibility of extending.

    Compensation & Benefits:
    Compensation is between 35

    hourly.

    Position Description:

    Design,test,andcommissioncustomswitchgearandgeneratorcontrolsystems.

    Executeandsupportthedesign,test,manufacture,andcommissioningoflowandmediumvoltageswitchgearthatcontrolsmultiplegeneratorswhichparalleltooneormoreutilitysources.
    ProvidedirectiontoCADdesignerstocreatewiringandassemblydrawingsforgeneratorparallelingswitchgearcontrols.
    Interactwithinternalandexternalcustomers,accomplishingprojectmilestones.
    CreatebillofmaterialsforgeneratorparallelingswitchgearcontrolsinERPsystem.
    CreatePLCprogramsforcontrolofgeneratorparallelingswitchgear.
    Executemultipleprojectssimultaneously.

    Interactionwithteam
    Office/Air-Conditionedmanufacturingfacility.

    Education&ExperienceRequired
    TechnicalSkills
    (Required)
    AbilitytocreatePLCprogramsusingoneoftheIEC61131PLCProgramminglanguagesi.e.
    LadderLogic,FunctionBlockDiagram,StructuredTextoranyotherPLCprogramminglanguage.
    Design,test,andcommissioncontrolsystems.i.e.systemswithdifferentPLCcontrollersinthesamesystem,experienceinterfacing,designingcontrolswithdifferentmanufacturers.
    DevelopcontrolsoftwareutilizingvariousPLCplatforms.
    ExpertknowledgeonatleastoneofthefollowingPLCplatforms.
    SchneiderMomentum,M340,M580,ABControl,CompactLogix,WoodwardMSLC,DSLC,EasyGen,andLS5Architecture.
    Interpretcustomerspecificationsanddrawings andapplythemtodesignplatformwhileconsideringindustryregulationsandrequirements.
    CustomizePLCsoftwareandhardwaretemplates.

    UnderstandindetailtheapplicableNEC,UL508,UL891,UL1558,ULMV,CSA22-2,andANSIrequirementsandtheirapplicationsinswitchgearcontrols.
    Understandprotectiverelays,theirfunctionsassociatedwithGenerator,andUtilityprotectionapplications.

    SoftSkills
