    The Senior Ecommerce Merchandiser is responsible for maximizing the customer experience and driving revenue growth through a highly converting front-end content and merchandising strategy. The Senior Ecommerce Merchandiser will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site content, execution of site merchandising and improvements to user experience. The ideal candidate for this role will be extremely detail oriented, have effective communication skills, be a natural problem solver. This candidate will have an eye for curating unique product stories that resonate with our customer and drive sales growth.

    The Senior Ecommerce Merchandiser reports directly to Ecommerce Site Manager.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Be a brand ambassador for The Paper Store
    • Responsible for enhancing and executing content and digital merchandising strategy on the Ecommerce site to deliver a compelling consumer experience resulting in improved conversion rates, average order value, basket size, upsell and profitability
    • Manage and oversee brand content and merchandising to support campaign launches, product activation and creative content
    • Execute and lead merchandising strategies on site including visually merchandising campaigns, maintaining upsell and cross sell, as well as, managing seasonal digital catalog and campaign launches
    • Consistently monitor site taxonomy navigation and product shopping categories to drive product browsing and add-to-cart behaviors
    • Curate merchandise assortments that resonate with our customers, support marketing strategies, and drive conversion
    • Manage homepage and landing page content strategy, conception and implementation partnering with Graphic Design team for digital content creation
    • Influence content creation with analytics and competitive analysis to drive further brand advocacy and consumer engagement based on industry trends in the digital space
    • Maintain on-site search reporting and site search optimization to improve shopping experience and site conversion
    • Implement A/B tests and develop personalization campaigns to optimize and improve site conversion.
    • Ensures content and merchandising strategy is aligned closely to stores and a key stakeholder in omnichannel strategy
    • Aligns digital strategy and activation on site to ensure that email and digital marketing are well supported
    • Utilize analytics to find content and merchandising opportunities and site optimization.
    • Provide KPI reporting to leadership and cross-functional teams with findings and recommendations. Including but not limited to; product and trend performance, content analysis and CVR, ensuring benchmarks are met
    • Partner with Buying and Marketing departments to stay current on the product assortment and promotions as well as key focus areas for upcoming seasons
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance agility
    JOB REQUIREMENTS:
    • College degree preferred in marketing, business, communications, or closely related subject or equivalent job experience
    • 4+ years of experience in Ecommerce/retail
    • An understanding of apparel retailing and the digital landscape
    • Demonstrate ability to multi-task in a fast-changing environment.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact professionally in live customer service situations
    • Ability to work independently of others, demonstrating resourcefulness, accountability, and outstanding attention to detail
    • Strong computer skills, ability to quickly learn how to navigate various software programs
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
    • Ability to work 3+ days/week at the Corporate Office in Acton, MA
    • Professional presentation in attire, demeanor, and appearance
