Position Summary:

Crow's Bench is Schweitzer's Premier restaurant. Centered around alpine cuisine, where we make our food from scratch. Position is Line Cook (Commis Chef), where you'll be responsible for executing a specific or multiple line stations during service hours. If you have a passion for global cuisine and a love for learning, this is the job for you.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces.
• Ensures all prep is done according to recipes and portion standards. Work in close liaison with chef.
• Cooking and Assembling Dishes - Cooks menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Assembles dishes with attention to presentation and quality.
• Maintains a clean and organized workstation.
• Follows sanitation and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment.
• Must be willing to work with both the Back of House and Front of House teams.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Must become knowledgeable of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities & services
• Other duties as assigned

Specific Job Skills:

License/Certifications- Idaho Food Safety Certification is preferred

Physical Capabilities- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Will lift up to 25lbs frequently, up to 50lbs occasionally. Exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards.
