- Complete required records associated with work assignments.
- Discern actual/potential health & safety hazards prior to performing work.
- Function in various work environments to which assigned throughout the facility. This may include but is not limited to elevated work, heat & cold, confined spaces.
- Effectively manage time, coordinate work with Maintenance Lead/Maintenance Manager, follow direction, and work in a team environment.
- Read, understand, use diagrams, sketches, schematics, blueprints, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions for troubleshooting and repair.
- Perform inspection, preventative maintenance, repair of facility and production equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial communication.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair field equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair switchgears and industrial controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot AC/DC Motor Circuits and Controllers
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and systems.
- Lead and/or assist production associates, and other supplemental workers in maintenance activities, as needed, to meet needs.
- Understand specific jobs duties and related instructions, as well as perform other tasks as assigned.
- Use common hand tools such as grinders, chippers, and wrenches.
- Communicate with fellow workers regarding instructions, general work assignments and safety concerns.
- Must be able to pass the Maintenance Physical Demands Test.
- Must be qualified to operate overhead cab and radio-controlled cranes and forklifts.
- Basic knowledge of Process and equipment operations.
- Ability to operate Process equipment.
- Trained and equipped for NFPA 70E compliance and knowledgeable of the energy levels.
- Comply with Company and Industry Standards for Safety.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to follow-up with any maintenance issue.
- Position may require external and internal training for specific equipment and/or general knowledge.
- Must have high school degree, preferred associate degree or higher in a maintenance tech program, have experience that equates to 10 to 15 years' experience in similar industry.
- Experience in programming and repair of PLC's, Variable Speed Drives, CNC Equipment, Robotics, and Computer Operating Systems.
- Experience with data entry and computers.
