Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Prototype Machinist to join our machine shop team under general supervision. This individual will develop, write and edit programs that direct automated machine tools to cut and shape precision metal parts, tools and products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze job orders, blueprints, CAD data and engineering documentation to determine machining operations, sequences and dimensions.
• Write test and revise CNC programs to control machining or processing of metal or plastic parts.
• Select set up appropriate tooling fixtures and machining parameters such as cutting speeds feed rates and depths of cut.
