    Software Support Specialist

    Winterset, Iowa
    *AGRILAND FS,* *a financially strong national cooperative* *dedicated to the development & success of employees* *is looking for a software trainer and administrator to install, upgrade and continuously train users on billing software and support new mobile hardware in delivery trucks.


    Responsibilities:

    • Manages successful set up and implementation of proprietary software in all refined fuel and propane trucks
    • Becomes resident expert on proprietary software applications with the ability to troubleshoot
    • Provides ongoing training and assistance with existing users along with training new users
    • Ensures proper administration of proprietary software security setup
    • Tracks software performance and reliability to address areas of concern
    • Manages outside vendors to update or fix billing software issues
    • Acts as an internal help desk to minimize support costs
    • Provide support for modems, handhelds and printers in trucks

    Requirements:

    • Two
    year degree in business, computer support, IT or equivalent work experience

    • Ability to travel as needed
    • Business software experience with an understanding of basic administrative and accounting functions
    • Excellent computer hardware and software business experience
    • Experience solving user problems and assisting others to learn about software
    • Strong leadership and self-starting behavior
    • Interpersonal skills to work with a variety of personalities and improve user performance
    • Experience learning IT or administrative support services expanding personal responsibilities that improve business performance
