Job Summary
The Supervisor, Maintenance oversees and assists in increasing equipment reliability and reducing downtime while maintaining quality while ensuring safety compliance.
+Responsibilities
- Scheduling and providing work assignments for preventative maintenance of equipment and/or repair of equipment; coordinating maintenance with production staff; recording repairs and maintenance performed; sourcing replacement parts and managing spare parts inventory ,
- Ensuring correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) ,
- Analyzing equipment for root cause failure to prevent future problems; identify faulty equipment through observation testing metrics ,
- Recommending improvements in equipment quality working environments Promotes actively participates continuous improvement initiatives Identify key gaps development skilled trades electrical electrical controls general maintenance skilled trades develop tactical plans close resource gaps maintenance team skill set +< h 2 >< b > Requirements < ul >< li > High School diploma G.E.D equivalent B.S degree related field preferred Four six years plant maintenance supervisory experience industrial manufacturing operation Strong Computer operation skills preferably MS Word Excel depth knowledge computerized maintenance management systems CMMS Strong interpersonal written verbal communication skills ability influence motivate others Familiar with maintenance management excellence techniques Preventive Maintenance PM Predictive Maintenance PDM Knowledge local state federal laws regulations relevant OSHA safety standards Knowledge ISO Quality Standards Quality Management Systems Knowledge LEAN Manufacturing LEAN Management principles experience working Lean production driving continuous improvement Physical Activity Requires more than time talking hearing less than time standing walking sitting reaching climbing balancing stooping kneeling crawling tasting smelling Lifting Requires lifting sometimes excess pounds less than time Vision Requires accurate close distance vision color peripheral vision depth perception focus Environment Requires one two thirds time working near moving mechanical parts exposed fumes airborne particles office setting high precarious places outdoor weather extreme heat vibration risk electrical shock Noise Requires exposure moderate noise ,
