The Physical Education Teacher continues Faculty Status position involves teaching undergraduate courses in physical education teacher education program including PETE 212: Physical and Health Education for Elementary School Teachers.
+Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in physical education teacher education program including PETE 212: Physical and Health Education for Elementary School Teachers.
Duties/Expectations
- Teaching on campus supporting field placements associated with course PETE 212; also involve teaching other courses in secondary PETE pedagogy , physical activity health content coaching among others assigned to meet departmental needs; total annual teaching load would be approximately 25 credits
- ,organize facilitate high-quality placements for teacher candidates in PETE 212
- ,collaborate with coordinator schools select mentor teachers studentsPETE li>,support professional development practicing teachers districts by conducting presentations related coaching conferences throughout state nation internationally demonstrating leadership department college university levels mentoring students classrooms fostering experiential learning opportunities.
