    Responsibilities


    • Conducts invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary examinations and procedures.
    • Administers, monitors, and documents prescribed medications and therapies, including patient ventilation setup and maintenance, as well as arterial blood gas procedures.
    • Sets up, oversees, and maintains equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions to designated management.
    • Attends professional gatherings, keeps credentials up-to-date, and engages in ongoing licensure activities.
    • Contributes to policy and procedure enhancement through active participation in development and review processes.
    • Takes accountability for assigned tasks and readily takes on additional responsibilities as needed.
    • Demonstrates effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders, displaying attentiveness, clarity in instructions, and knowledge sharing.
    • Collaborates and engages positively with supervisors, colleagues, other departments, and all customer segments, showcasing our dedication to exceptional service delivery.
    Qualifications



    Job Requirements:

    • Completion of an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Program. Relevant experience can be considered in lieu of educational qualifications.
    • Valid NM Respiratory Care License
    • BLS Certification
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
    Preferred

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field
    • One (1) year of relevant work experience
    • Membership with the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC)
    • National Specialty Certification
    • Possession of PALS, NRP, or ACLS certifications as per facility/department requirements
