    Description
    Bilingual (Spanish) Child & Adolescent Therapist Team Lead
    Due to eligible grant funds, this position offers a $4,000 hiring bonus.

    Job Scope:

    Join a diverse team of counselors and social workers providing mental health services in a collaborative and welcoming community outpatient setting.

    Engage clients in individual, group, and family therapy aimed at increasing supporting clients in creating a life worth living and functioning independently in the community.

    This team primarily serves children, adolescents, and young adult clients, but individual caseloads may also include adults. Provide individual supervision to 3-4 Bilingual Child and Adolescent Therapists.
    Provide mental health assessments that identify service needs and recommend options for care
    Involve client and/or family in the development of treatment plan goals, objectives and interventions that address their assessed behavioral health needs
    Provide individual, group, and family therapy services
    Provide case management services to assist clients and their families with access to needed benefits and services
    Assist in establishing effective communication between the Center, other social agencies serving clients, and the community
    Provide administrative and clinical oversight to Bilingual (Spanish) Child & Adolescent Outpatient therapists including clinical direction and assistance with treatment planning and service delivery
    Provide performance evaluation for supervisees building on strengths and identifying ongoing growth/training needs.
    Performance Requirements
    Work cooperatively with KYC team members to assure clients timely access to quality services
    Meet agency quality and compliance standard by accurately completing clinical documentation and service reporting in a timely manner
    Meet or exceed service productivity target
    Participation in staff training and development seminars
    Working cooperatively with other Center teams and programs to maintain smooth continuity of care when cases are shared across teams
    Participate in supervision with Manager of Child and Adolescent Outpatient Onsite Services and in regular performance appraisals as directed
    Understand the different funding sources available to the population served and the requirements for billing each of the funding sources
    Master's degree from an accredited college or University in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline required.
    LSW/LPC required. Must demonstrate knowledge in the areas of diagnostic assessment, long and short-term treatment, family systems theory and group treatment.
    Must be able to fluently speak, write, and read Spanish
    Must have basic computer and keyboarding skills.

    Full Time – Exempt, 37.The therapist must be prepared to work a flexible schedule in response to the needs of the target population served.

    This schedule may include evening hours.
