Job Description

Crown is seeking a Software Developer/Architect to support EIDS (Enterprise-Information Display System) with the Leidos team.

The candidate will primarily be responsible for:
Design and develop robust and scalable software solutions using Java and Spring Boot

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services

Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them in an AWS cloud-based environment

Utilize AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and others, to architect and develop cloud-native applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and implement solutions accordingly

Ensure code quality through proper testing and debugging practices

Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Utilize Git for version control and maintain a well-organized repository of code

Collaborate with the team using Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation

This position will be hybrid with some travel to Leidos RIO location in Rockville, Maryland.


Qualifications:
Qualifications

5-12 years of proven experience as a software developer, preferably in Java-based development projects

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required

Experience in Kubernetes is required

Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development

Experience with Docker and containerization techniques

Proficiency in version control using Git

Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Confluence

Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience with AWS services and architectures, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and others

Knowledge of , Python, or other modern programming languages is a plus
