    Description
    The Engineer must have experience working in a data center; installing software, hardware, cabling, rack and stack etc.

    Must Haves:
    Installation of software in data center, troubleshooting cabling and connection issues, hands on installing gear in installation center.


    Responsibilities:
    Design, deploy, and maintain the data center network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
    Test, implement and configure various Gigamon TAPs and devices including hardware and software upgrades, troubleshooting etc.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand networking requirements and provide effective solutions.
    Attend daily/weekly project touch-point calls and provide regular project deployment and completion status.
    Connectivity testing when adding or replace Gigamon TAPs and infrastructure cabling.

    Site preparation:
    staging, "Rack and Stack", configuration, and product preparation.
    Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to resolve incidents promptly.
    Participate in capacity planning, network security and disaster recovery strategies and document relevant SOPs / Visio for network repositories.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    4+ years of relevant experience of working in datacenter environment.
    Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on Gigamon software and hardware.
    Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting networking equipment from Gigamon.
    Understanding of routing protocols and switching protocols (BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, Spine-Leaf topology).
    Understanding of router/switch hardware knowledge, including troubleshooting skills and replacing components.
    Network troubleshooting skills, identifying and resolving issues in datacenter networks.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
    Effective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
