- JOB SUMMARY
- Physician - Medical Directors shall work with Administration and Dyad/Triad leaders to provide administrated services and overall leadership to the assigned service line's physicians, and hold physicians accountable to St. Luke's mission, vision, core values and proactive standards. Leads strategic operations within the group, acting as a business director for the group. Physician - Medical Director shall provide Administrative Services with supporting documentation upon request.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Experience: N/A- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current or pending license in Minnesota and/or WI to practice as Physician. Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration for prescription writing in Minnesota and/or Wisconsin. Board eligible or Board certified in the appropriate specialty

To recognize the legal limits of physician practice; to maintain professional competency through continuing education and independent study. Ability to support St. Luke's goals and objectives. - READING - Advanced: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints.
- WRITING - Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures.
- SPEAKING - Intermediate: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations or before groups of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
