    Cox Automotive is looking for a Senior ProductOwner to join the vAuto team based in Austin,TX.

    The Senior Product Owner will be responsiblefor developing and executing a comprehensive approach to deliverone or more products, capabilities, services, or enhancements inaccordance with the product roadmap.

    The SeniorProduct Owner works with Product Managers, Business Leaders, and1-2 cross-functional Scrum team to deliver the product to theClient. Manages the overall effort to deliver products,capabilities, services and enhancements using the strategic visionas well as established key performance indicators. Understands thefunctionality and determines the release sequence. Prioritizes andmaintains the product backlog and performs just-in-time storyelaboration with the developmentteam.

    Planning:
    • Prioritizes and manages backlog and implementation, ensures productexecution meets strategy and requirements.
    • Refines features into user stories and story acceptance criteria.
    • Partners with Product Managers to understandand influence product strategy and roadmaps.
    Development:
    • Supports1-2 scrum teams to build, enhance and manage one or more products,capabilities or services.
    • Facilitates /collaborates with developers, QA, and Scrum Master(s) to helpensure the implementation team's progress and success.
    Sales and ClientEngagement:
    • Engages with Clients as a Subject Matter Expert tounderstand performance and needs of the Client for in-marketproducts and performance requirements.
    • Partners with sales, sales operations, client solutions, and clientmarketing teams to communicate product performance and value forin-market products.
    Evaluation:
    • Assessesproduct performance against KPIs and makes adjustments/ correctionsto improve performance.
    • Regularlycommunicates performance of the product/experience to stakeholdersand the organization.
    • Aggregates andconceives ideas for enhancing product performance and achievingproduct success/KPIs.
    Analytical Thinking:
    • Ability toapply effective analytical techniques and tools. Analyzes issues,determines root cause, and creates/compares alternative solutionsthat are in the best interest of the business.
    • Approaches situations by defining the issue, determiningits significance, and identifying the forces, events and peopleimpacting and impacted by the situation at hand. Uses logic andintuition to make inferences about the meaning of data and drawsconclusions.
    ProjectAdministration & Management:
    • Ability touse methods, practices, and tools for managing projects. Utilizesproject management tools for estimation, dependency identification,conflict identification, task assignments, documentation, andreporting. Documents project meetings, including status reports ondeliverables and next steps.
    • Skilled indeveloping cost-benefit analyses, tracking, and reviewing actualversus planned costs. Ensures project-related problems aresurfaced, documented, and reported to appropriate team members, andhave ownership for resolution.
    RequirementsAnalysis:
    • Elicit, analyze and document business requirements. Engages withthe customers, users, and other stakeholders to gatherrequirements. Utilizes appropriate methods, tools, and techniquesfor requirements analysis. Challenges, and manages conflicts andexpectations associated with requirements analysis.
    System and TechnologyIntegration:
    • Advanced knowledge of system features and the ability tointegrate and communicate among applications, databases, andplatforms. Works with existing interfaces as well as integrationand migration plans within own area and across aligned/associatedareas.
    • Explores major issues andconsiderations for successful system integration. Plays an activerole in current and planned integration efforts.
    Technology Savvy:
    • Advancedknowledge of technology and its ability to improve work processesand results (e.g., enhance productivity, efficiency, collaboration,quality, or customer satisfaction). Uses technology to solvework-related problems and create new business opportunities.
    • Pursues opportunities to develop knowledgeand experiments with emerging technology solutions that can helpaccomplish work goals. Serves as a resource to help othersunderstand and anticipate the impact of technology on currentprocesses, products, and services.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experiencein a related field. The right candidate could also have a differentcombination, such as a master's degree and 2+ years' experience; aPh.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in arelated field
    • Requires and applies a broadknowledge of business, product performance and industry principles,practices, and procedures.
    • Working knowledgefor SAFe Agile Methodology preferred
    • Experience in working cross-functionally with a variety ofdifferent domains, including Engineering, Finance, and BusinessDevelopment.
    • Strong communication skills,both written and verbal, that can be applied across a diverse setof audiences.
    • High-level understanding ofengineering architecture with experience working with engineeringteams to deliver products.
    • Experience indesign, development and implementation of product plans.
    • Experience in full product lifecyclemethodologies.
    • Experience in acollaborative, cross-functional team environment.
    • Familiarity with CRM applications is preferred

    Compensation:

    Compensationincludes a base salary of $97, $161, The base salarymay vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factorssuch as the ultimate location of the position and the selectedcandidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may beeligible for additional compensation that may include an incentiveprogram.
