    Summary:

    As a Concrete/Mason Installer in residential construction, you will undertake a pivotal role in crafting and maintaining various concrete structures and masonry elements within residential properties. Working closely with skilled masons and construction teams, your responsibilities will encompass the preparation, pouring, finishing, and repair of concrete surfaces and masonry structures while upholding exceptional craftsmanship and adhering to safety protocols.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Include the following. Additional duties may be assigned.
    • Assist in preparing worksites by erecting scaffolding, setting up barricades, and ensuring the availability of safety equipment.
    • Aid in the mixing, pouring, and spreading of concrete for foundations, slabs, sidewalks, driveways, and other residential structures.
    • Collaborate with masons in laying bricks, stones, or other masonry materials to construct walls, fences, chimneys, and architectural features.
    • Utilize hand and power tools, including trowels, hammers, levels, and saws, to shape and refine masonry units and concrete surfaces.
    • Contribute to the installation of reinforcement materials such as rebar and wire mesh to reinforce concrete structures' strength and durability.
    • Conduct routine maintenance and upkeep of tools, equipment, and worksites to ensure safe and efficient operations.
    • Participate in the demolition and removal of old concrete or masonry structures as necessary.
    • Adhere strictly to established safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
    • Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and accomplish project objectives.
    • Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new skills and techniques to enhance proficiency in concrete and masonry work.

    Education and/or Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
    • Prior experience in construction, concrete work, or masonry is advantageous.
    • Minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Language Skills:
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
    Mathematical Skills:
