Job Description

As a Security Guard - Part-Time Patrol in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site staff, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, then take appropriate action within post orders, including requesting assistance from on-site personnel and/or public emergency services when needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including writing clear incident reports and documenting activities in logs as required.

Perform security-related checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas, and communicate concerns to supervision and/or site contacts in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
