    NORESCO is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Water & Wastewater team.

    We are seeking an individual that has construction management experience with a variety of construction tasks, including wastewater, utility distribution systems, and other civil plant structures.

    This individual will be responsible for working with a construction team, supporting project development, estimating, scheduling, contract/subcontract development, safety oversight, project financial performance, quality control/quality assurance and contract compliance.

    The Senior Project Manager will be a critical team member supporting project needs from development through construction completion. They will support project teams as needed to meet overall Company objectives.

    We will rely on this individual to participate in internal and external meetings providing their expertise to assist the teams as we develop successful projects to address client needs.

    Project Management skills and effective communication are required for this role.

    Water & Wastewater Expertise:
    Knowledgeable in the design and construction of water and wastewater facilities.
    Expertise in the typical challenges associated with underground, utility, and wastewater sites.
    Understand water and wastewater processes sufficiently enough to recognize process components, their function, and deficiencies.
    Develop conceptual estimates and cost development of water and wastewater projects.


    Project Documentation:
    Management and documentation of the bid process, including pre-qualifying subcontractors, developing bid packages, and evaluating subcontractor bids.
    Negotiate best pricing and terms with subcontractors and vendors, Developing subcontracts and purchase orders.

    Prepare daily construction reports as well as monitor the status of the project to ensure NORESCO meets all contract-related issues.

    Work with subcontractors and vendors to ensure that their closeout and O&M documents meet all NORESCO requirements.
    Generate and produce meeting minutes and appropriate correspondences required for contract compliance.


    Project Management:
    Development and management of project schedules, including organizing onsite construction activities.
    Interface with customers and supervise contractors on a daily basis and coordinate subcontractor access at Owner's facilities.
    Manage NORESCO purchased material and equipment by coordination, delivery, receive, and inspection.
    Interface with customers and supervise contractors on a daily basis and coordinate subcontractor access at Owner's facilities.
    Witness and inspect subcontractor work for quality control, cost control, schedule, and completeness.

    Coordinating, conducting, and documenting inspections of work with the Owner's representative to achieve a project's substantial and final completion.

    Responsible for onsite commissioning and closeout activities.
    Must be able to manage all aspects of the project with minor management supervision.
    Development of future projects by conducting the following: scope review, constructability, pricings, and subcontractor site walks.
    Manage project managers and provide mentoring and advice based on previous experience. Risk analysis and decision making when it impacts constructability, budgets, and or savings.

    Development of project and subcontractor safety plans.
    Daily monitor and document subcontractor activities ensuring safety compliance.

    Read and comply with all NORESCO safety requirements and maintain a safe work environment at both the office and in the field.


    Financial:
    Preparation of project budgets and managing projects to within the project budgeted amount.
    Track and approve subcontractor monthly invoices. Preparation of accurate monthly project financial projections for subcontractor monthly costs.
    Preparation of Monthly Billing.
    Change management controls and managing associated costs.

    Ability to work full-time onsite at client site in the Detroit, MI area
    10+ years of direct Construction Project Management experience in the municipal, water, or wastewater industry

    Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
    Experience with commissioning Water and Wastewater Process systems inclusive mechanical, chemical, Scada and control systems
    Fully competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
    Experience with Microsoft Project and Primavera P6
