- Responsible for safely transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- Ensures compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform daily inspections of vehicle and/or trailer.
- Review shipment records and manifests for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with DOT requirements and regulations.
- Consult with customers regarding load conditions and paperwork.
- Notify supervisor of any violations or accidents.
- Assist in loading/unloading materials at designated sites.
- Responsible for housekeeping duties.
- Other assigned duties.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Prior commercial driving experience.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations for transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- Strong team player.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Time management abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Valid CDL Class A with Hazmat endorsement.
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER training preferred.
