    Clarivate is seeking to hire an energetic Financial Analyst (Sales Compensation) to join our global Finance team As an integral part of our Financial Planning & Analysis: Sales Compensation team, you will support the analysis and administration of sales compensation programs. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional to develop analytical skills and gain valuable experience in sales compensation and financial analysis

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and eagerness to learn new tools

    What will you be doing in this role?
    • Prepare system configuration, analyze/perform calculations, and reconcile the commission payouts in accordance with Clarivate's monthly cadence
    • Create and maintain documentation to effectively manage all sales commission processes
    • Work closely with Sales and Finance leadership to contribute to the design and implementation of sales compensation plans
    • Support ad hoc projects and reports requested by sales management and corporate leadership including, but not limited to: quarterly projection files, financial accruals, compensation metrics and trends, etc.
    • Support the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date configurations in Oracle Territory Management and Oracle Incentive Compensation
    • Responsible for ongoing review of sales performance data to ensure sales allocation credit outcomes align with expectations and adheres to compensation plan design
    • Learn to utilize reporting tools to track and communicate key performance metrics
    • Perform research and analysis to identify and resolve compensation discrepancies related to various financial and/or business partner data
    • Support the evaluation of the effectiveness of current compensation plans
    • Act as Point of Contact for all commissions related questions and provide thorough and timely answers to the sales and sales management teams
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, learning from experienced colleagues
    • Participate in training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
    Hours of Work

    The Financial Analyst - Sales Compensation is a full-time hybrid role primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed. Our hybrid work environment consists of remote work and 2-3 days per week onsite at our Ann Arbor, MI office.
