    Description
    We are proudly representing an established multidisciplinary firm with offices across the US.

    Their office in Houston is experiencing huge growth, backed by their corporate office and they are seeing a rise in commercial work and are looking for a geotechnical engineer with expertise to lead these business critical projects.


    Responsibilities:


    Lead and manage geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design for a variety of projects, including but not limited to foundation design, slope stability analysis, retaining structures, and deep foundation systems.

    Conduct site visits, field inspections, and geotechnical testing to assess subsurface conditions and identify potential risks.
    Perform geotechnical analyses using advanced software tools and techniques, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
    Prepare detailed engineering reports, proposals, and recommendations based on findings and analysis.

    Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including structural engineers, environmental specialists, and project managers, to integrate geotechnical considerations into overall project designs.

    Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
    Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
    Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Texas.
    Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong emphasis on design and analysis.
    Proficiency in geotechnical engineering software such as gINT, PLAXIS, and FLAC.
    Proven track record of successfully managing geotechnical projects of varying scale and complexity.
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
    Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
