    POSITION: Sample Coordinator

    REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Production & Product Development

    DEPARTMENT: RTW

    POSITION SUMMARY: The Cult Gaia RTW Sample Coordinator Assistant will be responsible for the tracking of samples in all development stages of the style lifecycle (From 1st proto to TOP). The sample coordinator will work directly with several cross functional teams including product development, Technical Design, Design and Marketing Teams. This position is responsible for tracking and logging in samples and communicating directly with Cult Gaia's global vendor matrix.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Responsible for the end to end management of all RTW samples.

    · Tracking and managing all inbound and out bound sample shipments.

    · Maintaining Sample tracking in WFX PLM system. Assist as needed updating SKU info in WFX and NetSuite.

    · Maintaining inventory and distribution of end of season samples to archive closets and annual sample sales.

    · Organizing samples for the sales team, wholesale team, and ECOM team

    · Occasional sourcing in DTLA for sample room items and dropping off samples to factories.

    · Assist with organizing and maintaining archived garments, fabrics and trims.

    · Support Fabric R&D / Assist in the tracking the approvals of fabric samples, lab dips, strike-off's, trims and other development materials when required.

    · Coordinate all RTW samples for photoshoots and assisting on style outs.

    · Create and maintain tags for all samples in the sample closet in Launch Metrics to ensure inventory in-house and send-outs.

    · Facilitate all outgoing packages to vendors and trouble shoot with couriers on any issues. Create all packing lists, labels, and communicate tracking to vendors.

    · Daily communication with cross functional team on daily sample log.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    · Bachelor's Degree or Fashion School Degree.

    · 1 year experience in a fashion-related industry a plus

    · Knowledge of Excel and PLM experience preferred.

    · Strong communication skills.
